Comments:

1) Outstanding !The Oregon Republican League, centered here in Douglas County, collected a record 3,211 pounds of nonperishable food, and 230 new toys, in local efforts between November 1st and December 23rd. This represents a substantial increase over 2004.This is the kind of partisan warfare our communities can take great pride in.Very highest regards, in your most worthy endeavor.- Tony Larson, Azalea

2) Great job, Tony. Kudos to those D's too. How about a book drive next year? -Robert Johnson

3) Oh come on. How about a hunting derby? They have them in eastern Oregon. I heard Glendale has a club. I can't afford hunting licenses and tags anymore but people donate kills to the soup kitchens or church feeds. Fresh meat during the holidays would be great. Its something not a lot of families can afford all the time. I'd love fresh venison. State police have harvest guidelines so everything's safe. Maybe one of the smokehouses would donate their services for preparation and sausage. Just one i-deer.Drooling in Riddle
